Dean Henry created Will-o-Wisp Studios as a way to put his artistic and writing endeavors under the one umbrella.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Dean spends a lot of his time day dreaming, annoying his dogs, and occasionally working on his projects. He loves fantasy, science fiction, and supernatural. All of his works feature LGBTQIA+  as he believes the importance of being inclusive of all sexualities and identities. As a transgender man who identifies as a pansexual, he wished he had been exposed to more books featuring LGBTQIA characters and so he wishes to create as many works as possible to help teens and adults understand and accept that love of others and love of self comes in different ways.

Currently, he's in the process of completing a trilogy under the title Colliding Worlds, a Young Adult Fantasy series. The first book, Colliding Worlds: The Sun and Moon, was re-released in 2018. The second in the series is Colliding Worlds: The Compass, which will be released by the end of 2020. The final book in the series has been titled Colliding Worlds: Reunion. All three focuses on acceptance, family, and doing what's right even when facing backlash.

On the drawing side of things, Dean creates a number of fanart using different styles ranging from cute and chubby to realism portraits, and everything in between. He's currently working on a comic called Artefact and designing other characters for future works.

It's his dream one day to be able to create full time and be able to afford to travel across the country to attend conventions to sell his art and books, and to meet all sorts of people.
